HƯỚNG DẪN XNC Nhờ chú vha08 tư vấn cho cháu về việc chọn ngành

Chào chú vha08, dạo này chú có khỏe không ạ.
Năm ngoái nhờ chú điền đơn FAFSA cho cháu bây giờ cháu đang học ESL ở college. Mùa fall này cháu có thể lấy thêm được lớp toán. Cháu đang muốn học để transfer lên University.
Chú cho cháu hỏi về việc chọn ngành học. Hiện nay cháu đang phân vân không biết nên chọn theo học ngành nào. Xin chú tư vấn giúp cho cháu. Có 3 ngành đang phổ biến hiện nay là: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil and Infrastructure Engineering. 3 ngành này đều đòi GPA là 3.5. Cháu thấy nó hơi khó.
Cháu đang xem đến ngành Astronomy. Ngành này thì cháu không được biết nhìu nhưng nó chỉ yêu cầu GPA là 2.0. Trong tổng 120 credits yêu cầu cho bachelor chỉ có 66 credits bao gồm cả math, physics, astronomy, còn lại là general education với elective course. Chương trình như vậy cháu thấy rất là nhẹ và nó giống với chương trình ở college. Cháu muốn hỏi là:
Ngành này sau khi tốt nghiệp mình sẽ làm gì ?
Astronomy với Astrophysic là giống nhau hay khác nhau ?
Astronomy sau khi tốt nghiệp có dễ kiếm việc như 3 ngành kia không ?
Ngành này trường mà cháu muốn theo học chỉ có đến Bachelor, cháu đọc ở 1 số diễn đàn nói là Astronomy cần phải học đến master thì mới ra đi làm được. Cái này có đúng không vậy chú ?

Mỗi trường có yêu cầu khác nhau, cháu không nói rõ tiểu bang nào và trường nào thì làm sao hướng dẫn cho cháu.

Khoa học không gian và vật lý không gian thường là những khoa học gia (PhD) những người chọn học ngành này thuogn72 rất là giỏi


Cháu nên chọn computer hay electronic hay electrical hay civil nói chung kỹ sư nào cũng yêu cầu 4 tới 5 lớp toán cao cấp (calculus)

Cháu ở Virginia, cháu đang muốn transfer vào trường George Mason University.
Các ngành về engineering đều có yêu cầu Admission Requirements là các môn phải có GPA trên 3.5 tương đương 85%, trong khi ngành astronomy chỉ yêu cầu GPA có 2.0 tương đương 70%.
Bữa giờ cháu lấy lớp ở community college, để đạt được 70% thì cháu học rất là dễ dàng, còn trên 85% thì cháu thấy cũng hơi khó. Bởi vậy cháu muốn chuyển sang học ngành astronomy vì yêu cầu của nó rất là thấp. Có điều là cháu koh bít sau khi ra trường có dễ xin việc hay koh thôi, vì ngành này cháu thấy cũng ít có người học.

Nhìn trên 2 program thì cháu thấy sao ngành astronomy nó dễ quá, hơn 50% chương trình học là general studies với elective course rồi. Cả 2 ngành đều yêu cầu phải lấy physic lvl 3 với math calculus lvl 3. Hiện giờ cháu vẫn còn đang học ÉSL nên cháu định lấy mấy lớp math ở college trước.
Cháu có xem về ngành aerospace engineering mà chú vha08 đã post. Cháu koh bít là ngành astronomy với aerospace engineering nó có gì giống nhau koh. Vì trường cháu muốn theo học chỉ có astronomy, cháu koh thấy có aerospace engineering với astrophysic. Hiện giờ cháu đang phân vân koh bít phải như thế nào. Chọn ngành xong mai mốt thay đỗi vừa mất thời gian mà lại koh được gì. Mong chú vha08 tư vấn thêm cho cháu về ngành astronomy. Cám ơn chú rất nhiều.
