Cháu đang kẹt trong đống bùi nhùi thì may quá lạc vào đây,xin nhờ bác giúp đỡ cháu ạ .

Gia đình cháu sắp sang định cư ở OhiO ( hoặc chuyển sang ở Connecticut ). Cháu đang lo sang đó mình nên chọn university nào phù hợp với mình.

Cháu đang có IELTS 7.0, điểm trung bình các năm cấp 3 đều trên 8.0, cháu còn biết thêm 2 ngoại ngữ khác nữa, nhưng các hoạt động ngoại khoá thì cháu ko có tham gia,chỉ có hình chụp hồi đó đi với các bạn 1 lần thăm các em mồ côi. Hiện tại cháu ko có học đại học ở Việt Nam.Cháu đang ôn thi SAT,đang còn hơi chưa đủ tự tin ở phần writing nên cháu chưa có đăng kí thi.

Cháu chọn học Finance ở bên đó.Xin bác tư vấn cho cháu 1 university thích hợp với cháu ạ.

Cháu định là trong quá trình chờ đợi được gọi đi phỏng vấn sẽ học Finance ở RMIT HCMC cho đỡ phí thời gian rồi sau này xin chuyển được credit nào thì chuyển.Bác nghĩ cháu làm như như vậy có nên không ạ?

Khu vực Northeast U.S có rất nhiều trường LACs nổi tiếng, ĐTB THPT của cháu là ngon lành rồi. Luyện thêm tiếng Anh phần admission essay. Về SAT cháu thi ở Việt Nam cũng được, nếu 2000 trở lên thì OK, dưới thì qua Mỹ thi lại cũng được.

Thông tin của cháu còn thiếu phần di trú. Nếu gia đình cháu sẽ qua Mỹ trước mùa Fall 2012, thì nộp đơn xin vào LACs ngay năm nay từ Việt Nam. Trường nào cho cháu "full ride" thì khi qua Mỹ sẽ học trường đó.

Cháu theo khuôn mẫu chung khi đặt câu hỏi , cho tôi them chi tiết.

Hiện tại bây giờ gia đình cháu đã làm xong các thủ tục, đang chờ thư mời đi phỏng vấn ạ ( đã chờ khoảng gần 2 tháng ). Ông ngoại bảo lãnh mẹ cháu với cháu sang Ohio (ba cháu đã mất ), nhưng vì 1 số lí do mà mẹ cháu bảo sẽ sang Connecticut sinh sống. Cháu thì còn tuỳ vào trường mình theo học rồi mới quyết định ở đâu. .

Xin bác tư vấn cho cháu là cháu nên học ở Ohio hay là ở Connecticut và trường nào là thích hợp với ngành Finance của cháu ạ.

Hầu như là trường đại học công/tư ở Mỹ đều có dạy business administrtion (ngoại trừ mấy trường chuyên môn như dạy về hàng hải).

Mẹ cháu chọn dời về Connecticut sinh sống là có lý do riêng, để được mau chóng trở thành cư dân (Resident của Connecticut, mẹ cháu cần phải đi làm liền thì:

The Connecticut Residency Statute. To qualify for in-state tuition under the law, a person (or his parents in the case of a dependent) must be domiciled in Connecticut for at least 12 months. Domicile is a legal term that means "the place at which the person is physically present and that the person regards as home; a person's true, fixed, principal, and permanent home, to which that person intends to return and remain even though currently residing elsewhere" (Black's Law Dictionary, 7th Ed. , 1999). An emancipated person cannot establish domicile merely by attending a Connecticut university full-time, in the absence of a clear demonstration of intent to establish a Connecticut domicile.

Members of the military on active duty in the state qualify for the in-state tuition rates even if they have not lived in the state for a full 12 months. Anyone employed full-time in Connecticut can apply for residency status for his spouse and unemancipated children after living in the state for six months if he provides evidence of domicile and the employee is not in the state primarily as a full-time student. Also, the spouse of anyone classified as an in-state resident qualifies for in-state tuition (CGS §§ 10a-28 & 10a-29).
