Mục này dành cho các ACE trước đây đã từng bị NVC gửi thông báo chưa hoàn tất, ACE có thể post bài vào đây, nêu lý do bị checklist và kinh nghiệm bổ túc như thế nào để hồ sơ được hoàn tất.

Các ACE đi trước biết trước, viết lại để ACE đi sau vào đọc sẽ rút được kinh nghiệm cho hồ sơ của mình, tránh bị những tờ thông báo ngoài ý muốn.

Xin cám ơn anh Thành và BĐH web XNC. Tôi sẽ đưa những checklist vào mục này cho các bạn đi sau rút kinh nghiệm, và giấy báo của NVC đóng $400 ; văn phòng luật sư bên Mỹ giam hố sơ của tôi gần 08 tháng. Hiện tại hồ sơ của tôi đã được completed ngày 06/06/2010.

If the certificate is a certified copy of the original, it must come from the issuing government authority

Documents must be from the appropriate issuing government authority. Failure to provide the
correct document will delay processing of your case and may result in re-scheduling of your
interview, or refusal of a visa.
In addition to sending the original documents or certified copies of the documents to the NVC, a
photocopy of the original documents must be submitted.
Unobtainable birth certificates
If the applicant’s birth record is unobtainable, please obtain a certified statement from the appropriate
government authority stating the reason the applicant’s birth record is not available. With the certified
statement the applicant must submit secondary evidence. For example:
• A baptismal certificate that contains the date and place of birth, as well as both parents names
(providing the baptism took place shortly after birth)
• An adoption decree for an adopted child
• An affidavit from a close relative, preferably the applicant’s mother, stating the date and place of
birth, both parents names, and the mother’s maiden name.
Suitability of documentation for immigration purposes
For many countries, the Department of State has provided country-specific criteria for ensuring that
applicants submit visa processing appropriate documents. Please follow the instructions below to
determine if the Department of State has issued any country-specific guidelines for the requested
document.

1. Click on the Fees & Reciprocity Tables box located on the left side of the page.
2. Click on the Visa Issuance Fee - Reciprocity Tables line near the middle of the page.
3. From the drop down menu, select the country where the document was issued.

All documents not in English or the official language of the country in which the visa will be applied for
must be accompanied by a certified translation. Your translation must include a statement signed by the
translator that states the following:

Đến: 3-MAR-2010 mới biết và đóng tiền cho 04 người có tên ( hồ sơ gồm 05 người; con gái đầu: 7/28/1985 không có tên trong giấy báo đóng tiền; có lẽ vì quá tuổi)



Xin chia sẻ những gì mà tôi bị trục trặc, mong rằng: cũng là một kinh nghiệm cho những người đi sau, đang tiến hành lo thủ tục cho hồ sơ của chính mình. Khi hồ sơ được mở, hãy làm ngay những điều mà NVC yêu cầu, theo trình tự của mỗi giai đoạn. Dẫu gì đi nữa, tôi cũng có một lời khuyên đến với các bạn đi sau rằng: ĐỪNG BUỒN VÀ ĐỪNG NÃN LÒNG. Hãy cố tìm cách để vượt qua khó khăn mà mình gặp phải. Chúc các bạn luôn thành công trong cuộc sống.
Một vấn đề cũng cần nói thêm nữa là: Bảo trợ tài chánh; kiếm người đứng ra bảo trợ hay đồng bảo trợ cũng là một vấn đề khó khăn đối với người đã gặp phải như chính tôi: Cha mẹ và chị em tôi hiện tại ở Mỹ đến 07 người, không ai đúng ra đồng bảo trợ cho gia đình tôi được, vì làm neo trốn thuế không đứng ra bảo trợ tài chánh được, tôi có nhờ bên phía vợ, nhưng cũng không ai dám đứng ra cả, họ sợ chịu trách nhiệm về sau ( cũng là một điều đáng phải suy tư đấy,...), một vấn đề khá nhạy cảm, nói ít nhưng hiểu nhiều nha các bạn. cuối cùng là cháu gọi tôi bằng bác ruột đứng ra đồng bảo trợ cho gia đính tôi đó, danh sách 04 người. Một chuyện khá đau lòng, nhưng đã nói thì cho trót vậy: Cháu gọi bằng bác ruột sắp ra trường bằng tiến sĩ ( ngày xưa còn nhỏ xíu , bị xốc thuốc, chính tôi giả hột đậu xanh, hòa nước cho uống, giải thuốc ngày ấy), đến nay cháu đã trưởng thành nơi xứ người và thành đạt, tôi cũng không ngờ đến là nó và cha nó (một đứa em trai ruột quậy nhất nhà trong 09 người con ngày xưa khi còn ở VN) đứng ra bảo trợ cho gia đình tôi. Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

The NVC has completed our review of the Affidavit of Support and supporting financial evidence. Additional financial evidence will be requested under separate cover. Please have this additional information requested available for the interview with the US Embassy/ Consulate General.

If the petitioner/sponsor/household member needs another form: www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov, Affidavit of Support Processing to download a copy of the I-864 and/or the instructions. If you do not have access to the internet, you may wish to visit your local library or an internet café.
