CÁC GIẤY TỜ NGƯỜI ĐỒNG BẢO TRỢ KÈM THEO BỘ BẢO TRỢ TÀI CHÍNH
khi người bảo lãnh không làm việc hay làm việc nhưng không đủ thu nhập bảo lãnh tài chánh. Trong trường hợp đó, người bảo lãnh cần có thêm người cùng tài trợ hồ sơ. Người cùng tài trợ sẽ làm mẫu đơn I-864, hoặc nếu ở cùng nhà với người bảo lãnh thì sẽ làm mẫu Form I-864A. Các mẫu I-864 hay I-864A đều phải được đi kèm với bằng chứng về tình trạng cư ngụ hợp pháp tại Hoa Kỳ như bản sao khai sanh, hộ chiếu, giấy nhập tịch, thẻ thường trú nhân, giấy thuế hoàn chỉnh của năm gần nhất, bằng chứng về công việc hiện thời như giấy lãnh lương, giấy xác nhận việc làm có ghi mức lương.
Bộ bảo trợ tài chính: Người bảo lãnh và người đồng bảo trợ (nếu có) phải nộp bộ Bảo trợ tài chính (Mẫu I-864) có chữ ký gốc cho mỗi đương đơn chính và bản sao cho mỗi đương đơn đi theo. Bản gốc I-864 phải đi kèm với giấy thuế hoàn chỉnh của năm gần nhất. Tốt hơn hết là bản thuế thu nhập từ Sở Thuế Liên Bang (IRS) (trước đây là mẫu 1722). Từ ngày 13 Tháng Tư năm 2012 , Bộ Ngoại giao sẽ giảm chi phí xử lý hồ sơ xin visa nhập cư cho tất cả các loại đơn bảo lãnh di dân. Hóa đơn lệ phí đơn xin visa nhập cư của bạn sẽ được gửi lại vào ngày hoặc sau ngày 13 tháng 4 năm 2012 .
Lệ phí xử lý hồ sơ xin visa nhập cư sẽ được giảm đến mức sau :
• các diện ưu tiên gia đình F - $ 230 dollars cho mỗi người .
