Con đã qua California được 4 tháng, đang làm thủ tục đăng kí môn học cho trường Golden West college và con đã hoàn thành apply xin FAFSA. Sau nhiều lần bổ sung giấy giờ khai thuế thì văn phòng FAFSA của trường có gửi mail yêu cầu bổ sung bằng tốt nghiệp và con đã làm xong. Vấn đề của con như sau:
- Nhưng ngày 12/12/2012 này con bắt đầu phải chọn đăng kí lớp chứ nếu trễ sợ không có lớp học. Cho con hỏi là khi con đăng kí lớp thì có phải trả tiền trước rồi sau khi FAFSA hoàn tất thì nó sẽ cover lại không?
- Hiện tại thì nhà con không thể đủ chi trả số tiền đăng kí trên 12 unit ($217/1 unit) thì bây giờ con phải làm sao ạ?
- Đây là mail cuối cùng con nhận được từ trường, cho con hỏi là thủ tục của con đã hoàn tất chưa ạ, và khoảng bao lâu FAFSA mới quyết định có cho tiền con bao nhiêu ạ?

Based upon the information you submitted you are eligible for the Board of Governor's Fee Waiver (BOGW) for this AcademicYear - Summer 2012, Fall 2012, and Spring 2013. The BOGW fee waiver covers your enrollment fees ONLY. You will still be responsible for material fees and any other fees or expenses of your education which must be paid within five days of your registration or you will be dropped from all of your classes.
If you are interested in other forms of Financial AId such as Federal and State Grants, Work Opportunities or student loans, please review the items requested below and bring them to our office as soon as possible so that we may review your full financial aid application. In order to create a GWC Financial Aid file for you and determine your federal aid eligibility, we will need the following additional document(s) from you:
Copy of HS Diploma (Not Received)
Anything required in the list which is a form or worksheet may be downloaded on our website: www.goldenwestcollege.edu/fao/. All of your forms and documents must be submitted at the same time or they will not be accepted at the counter.
Please keep in mind that the number of completed applications submitted ahead of yours will affect the amount of time that you will have to wait before we are able to review your data and notify you about your financial aid eligibility. Therefore, you will want to complete and return ALL the above requested documents together to the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible for an earlier spot in line. Completed files are reviewed on first-come-first-served basis.
Fee Waiver Reminders:
1. Do not submit the fee waiver application (CCCApply). The FAFSA is used for Fee Waiver eligibility.
2. Fee Waiver only waives the unit fee.
3. You must pay all material fees and or any other fees attached to your registration. If not you will be DROPPED from your classes.
IMPORTANT: The GWC Financial Aid Office will use the email address you provided on your FAFSA or your GWC email for notifying you about things that you need to know about your financial aid. Therefore, you must remember to check your email account regularly!
The Financial Aid Office is located in the Library Building, Room 120.
