To ensure the confidentiality of visa files and to prevent the unauthorized release of personally identifiable information, the NVC requires that the following information be provided with each inquiry:
1. NVC case number or USCIS receipt number
2. Petitioner's name and date of birth
3. Principal Applicant's name and date of birth
NOTE: If the visa petition is employment-based (I-140), include the employer's company/organization name instead of the petitioner's name and date of birth.

Thông tin trong thư NVC gửi họ thông báo rõ cho bạn biết, khi gửi email bạn phải ghi chính xác Tên, Họ, ngày tháng năm sinh của người bảo lãnh và người được bảo lãnh, ghi chính xác theo họ thông báo thì NVC mới trả lời cho bạn được vì đây là lý do bảo mật thông tin. Bạn xem lại thư gửi cho NVC có sai chổ nào hay không, ghi ngày tháng năm sinh phải ghi theo kiểu Mỹ: tháng/ngày/năm sinh. Mục tiêu đề phải ghi rõ Case Number: HCMxxxxxxxxxx
