NVC đã nhận được lệ phí 70$ vào ngày 21.5.2010 và sẽ gửi những hướng dẫn tiếp theo trong vài tuần tới.
Bây giờ bạn nên download DS230 về điền là vừa rồi, làm luôn Lý lịch tư pháp, bên Us cũng tiến hành làm I-864 luôn nhé.

Tôi cũng đang điền DS 230. Tôi có vài chỗ thắc mắc :
1. Ở câu 33, nếu ghi các trường là cấp I,II,III thì chỗ Course of study và Degree or Diploma thì phải ghi làm sao ?
2. Language you spoken or read thì ghi là Vietnamese phải không ạ ?
3. Nếu con tôi là hs thì chỗ việc làm khi sang Mỹ ghi là N/A phải không ạ?

Tôi đã gửi đơn ds3032 cho NVC qua đường bưu điện và email. Hôm nay tôi nhận được thư của NVC với nội dung sau :
Dear Sir/Madam:
Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).
Based upon the information received, the NVC is unable to determine the
date of birth for the principal applicant. Please submit a copy of a
valid passport so we may update your file.
Please be advised our office has revised our guidelines for
communication between the National Visa Center and the public. We are
now required to verify case information each time we receive an inquiry.
According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to
discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when
provided with all of the following information:
" NVC case number or CIS receipt number
" Petitioner's name and date of birth
" Beneficiary's name and date of birth
" Your full name
If you are corresponding regarding an I-140 petition you must provide
the following information:
" NVC case number or CIS receipt number
" Name of the petitioning company
" Beneficiary's name and date of birth
" Your full name
Please resubmit your inquiry including the required information.
Please be advised that your inquiry and/or any documents submitted with
your inquiry have been processed and placed into the case file.
If you wish to obtain case specific information, please submit the
required security information requested above.
If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the
NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will
expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents
will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration
process.

Bạn cần làm những bước sau:
1. Đi làm lý lịch tư pháp cho các thành viên trong gia đình từ 16 tuổi trở lên.
2. Nếu ai chưa có passport thì cũng làm ngay bây giờ.
3. Chụp hình làm visa khổ 5x5. Bạn cứ nói hình làm visa tiệm chụp hình họ sẽ tự biết cách chụp.
4. Chuẩn bị tất cả các giấy tờ hộ tịch như giấy hôn thú, khai sinh,... xem có đầy đủ và khớp không nhé.
5. Bạn xem hướng dẫn cách điền DS230 dưới đây và điền cho mỗi thành viên 1 bộ:

6. Nếu người nhà đóng tiền visa theo hình thức online thì bạn nên vào web của NVC để check và in document cover sheet trước. Document cover sheet có thể gọi nôm na là tờ bìa hồ sơ, rất quan trọng. Xem hướng dẫn ở đây:

Gia đình tôi gồm hai vợ chồng và hai đứa con. Chúng tôi đang trong giai đọn hoàn thành hồ sơ gửi cho NVC. Chúng tôi có vài thắc mắc sau, xin BD9H trợ giúp :
1. Hồ sơ của chồng tôi và tôi, mỗi bộ đều phải có hôn thú hay chỉ cần một cái cho người được lãnh chính là được.
2. Tôi nghe có một số người cần phải nộp cả CMND bản sao và hộ khẩu nữa. Có phải không ạ?
