We do not have information as to what kind of financial aid you are eligible for, or when you will receive it. That is determined by the Financial Aid Office at your (or the student's) school, you will need to contact them for that information.

To be eligible for Federal Student Aid in a post secondary school, a student must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. The equivalent to the high school diploma includes:
A General Education Development Certificate;
A State certificate stating the student passed a State authorized examination that the State recognizes as the equivalent of a high school diploma;
An academic transcript of successful completion of at least a 2 year program for full credit toward a bachelor's degree; or
For a person seeking enrollment for an associate degree or its equivalent, who has not completed high school, but has met formalized, written policies of excellence.
Successful completion of Home-school under State law.
Under the new statutory change: For students who "first enroll in a program of study on or after July 1, 2012," and who are not high school graduates or do not meet the requirements listed above, will not be eligible for Federal Student Aid by:
passing an Ability to Benefit Test;
completing at least 6 credit hours or equivalent toward a degree or certificate at a postsecondary school.

David Johnson: 12:08:39
Before the new law you were able to do that. Since the new law has passed you are no longer able to do that to qualify for aid. As it states above.
