Câu nói chờ 6 - tuần là khung thời gian làm việc của NVC. Thời gian để review 1 bộ hồ sơ thật sự chỉ hơn 10 ngày nhưng nếu gặp những case nào họ cần phải kiểm tra lại thì sao? Thời gian tất nhiên sẽ lâu hơn các case khác rồi.
Thông thường khi hồ sơ bạn được hoàn tất thì họ cũng báo thế. Nhưng bạn có nhận được thư PV hay không lại lệ thuốc vào ngày đáo hạn của hồ sơ cũng như số lượng visa sẵn có trong tháng đó.

Theo thông tin trên checklist thì NVC yêu cầu người bảo lãnh bên Hoa Kỳ phải nộp:
1/ Giấy khai sinh bản gốc hoặc bản sao, bản sao phải được chứng nhận bởi chính nơi cấp bản chính. (NVC không chấp nhận bản sao công chứng!)
2/ Giấy hôn thú, hoặc ly hôn của người bảo lãnh, bản gốc hoặc bản sao được chứng nhận bởi nơi cấp bản chính. (NVC không chấp nhận bản sao công chứng!)
Các giấy này nếu là tiếng Việt thì không cần phải dịch sang tiếng Anh.
